Britney Spears is rumoured to be planning her live comeback next week.

It has been suggested the singer will be playing the House Of Blues on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 2).

She is set to play under the name The M+M's and will be accompanied by several backing singers, according to Celebslam.

Following the breakdown of Spears' marriage this year, the singer has had a highly-publicised difficult period including a stint in rehab, the infamous hair shaving incident and clubbing antics with a series of celebrity friends.

However the singer is now working on her fifth album, which is thought to include contributions from Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz and Dr Luke.

Meanwhile, producer Sean Garrett told E! News that the tracks 'Pull Out', 'Kiss Me All Over' and 'Love' had been recorded for the album which is said to be slated for release this year.

Britney's Next Album - Toxic times Ten

Written by: McKenna Lowry

Now that Britney Spears is back from rehab, work on her next album is set to continue with music producer Sean Garrett.

Newly divorced mother of two, not to mention rehabbed, Britney Spears is ready to get back to work on her first original album since 2005's In the Zone with music producer Sean Garrett.

Garrett and Spears had already completed five tracks before she enter Malibu's Promises for a month of rehab. The two are set to get back to work soon and Garrett had nothing but praise for Britney and her comeback album.

"The new album is like 'Toxic' times 10," says Garrett. "I know she'll do exceptionally well now that she's out of rehab."

But is her career, or life for that matter, recoverable?

"Britney is a superstar,” he said. “She definitely knows how to handle herself, but it’s tough sometimes. The pressure sometimes gets to you, but I think she has done such a great job keeping her composure under the circumstances.”
